The programs are underwritten to FHA and FNMA guidelines. The rates are typically less that what is offered on the open bond market and there is money for the 2nd mortgage available. The purchase price has a limit, and the borrowers income has a limit. These both vary by location (county).
To use the program both the real estate agent and the loan originator must be approved with the WSHFC and the borrower (you) need to attend a class.
